MINNEAPOLIS — Health Dimensions Group (HDG), a senior living consulting and management firm based in Minneapolie, has promoted Sharon Thole to executive vice president of operations.
Thole joined HDG in 2019 and has almost 20 years of experience leading and positioning post-acute and senior living. She is now a member of the organization’s executive leadership team.
As the executive vice president of operations for HDG’s managed communities, she will provide guidance to the regional directors and operations teams; interface with boards and owners; ensure regulatory compliance; promote quality care and employee experience; and oversee community financial performance. She will also lead HDG’s Coronavirus Task Force.
Previously, Thole was the director of originations for financing of healthcare facilities and senior housing at Love Funding. Her previous experience also includes operations and business development positions with national organizations, including serving as chief operations officer of a multi-site, nonprofit senior living organization with three continuing care retirement communities, a hospital-based transitional care unit, and home- and community-based hospice house.
Thole received a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and gerontology at Minnesota State University of Moorhead. In addition, she earned licenses from Minnesota Board of Nursing Facility Administrators and South Dakota Board of Nursing Facility Administrators.
Thole has served in numerous professional association leadership roles such as a board member and member of committees and task forces for AHCA and Care Providers of Minnesota. She served on the Maltreatment and Abuse Prevention Taskforce for LeadingAge of Minnesota.
HDG serves almost 2,000 seniors in more than 30 communities in seven states.
