WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ingleside, a nonprofit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) operator based in Washington, D.C., has promoted Elizabeth “Libby” Bush to the position of chief operations officer. Bush most recently served as the executive director of Westminster at Lake Ridge, one of Ingleside’s CCRCs in Virginia.
In her new role, Bush will provide leadership and direction for operating functions at Ingleside. A key part of this new role will be to build and standardize Ingleside processes, programs and systems.
As COO, Bush will have operational responsibility for Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster at Lake Ridge, Ingleside at King Farm, and the company’s future home healthcare services firm, Ingleside at Home.
Prior to her role at Westminster at Lake Ridge, Bush worked at a CCRC in Richmond, Va., for 21 years. In her most recent position there, she oversaw four divisions, including independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. She led strategic planning that resulted in a repositioning and new programs and services at the community.
Bush is an alumnus of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy. She holds a master’s degree in management of aging studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the College of Wooster.
