ORLANDO, Fla., and DALLAS — JLL has hired Mike Garbers and Cody Tremper to join the real estate investment management firm’s multifamily business as it expands its expertise in the seniors housing sector.
Both will hold the title of managing director, and both are coming from the Greystone Real Estate Advisors seniors housing team. Garbers will be based in Orlando, while Tremper will be based in Dallas.
“There is no question that the U.S. population is aging and the demand for seniors housing is growing exponentially,” says David Williams, head of JLL Multifamily, explaining his reasoning behind expanding the JLL seniors housing team.
Garbers has over 18 years of experience in the industry and has been involved in developing, acquiring and selling over $5.5 billion in seniors housing properties. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and an M.B.A. from Webster University.
Tremper has worked in the seniors housing sector for 14 years and has been involved in $4.5 billion of seniors housing transactions. He received a bachelor’s in finance from Texas Christian University.
