WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Lancaster Pollard has opened an office in Walnut Creek, located in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. Grant Goodman, vice president with the firm, will lead the new office.
The San Francisco office will be Lancaster Pollard’s 10th banking office nationwide. The firm consists of four companies providing integrated investment banking, mortgage banking, private equity, balance sheet lending and mergers and acquisitions services.
Goodman is Lancaster Pollard’s lead health care banker in Northern California and Nevada. Over the course of his career, he has underwritten and advised on transactions in excess of $2 billion.
Prior to joining Lancaster Pollard, Goodman led the California region at GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services. Previous to that role, he oversaw capital originations for GE’s Corporate Finance business. He started his career in community banking, lending to local mid-market organizations for real estate, working capital and equipment projects.
“The establishment of our San Francisco office is an integral aspect of our overall growth efforts,” says Jason Dopoulos, senior managing director and head of the western U.S. at Lancaster Pollard. “Even though our headquarters is in the Midwest, we have always been a national firm. The opening of our new office in Walnut Creek, coupled with our Newport Beach and Denver offices that have been thriving for years, demonstrates how we have really strengthened our presence out West.”
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Lancaster Pollard helps senior living and health care providers expand and improve their services by delivering capital financing solutions and financial advice. The company is a subsidiary of ORIX USA, which acquired the firm in 2017.
