DES MOINES, Iowa — Lifespace Communities, a Des Moines-based nonprofit owner and operator of 15 senior living communities across eight states, has hired Susan Bowser as regional director of sales and marketing. Concurrently, Rob Clark was hired as regional director of operations.
Bowser will oversee sales initiatives, while Clark will be responsible for leadership, strategic planning and operations guidance for the organization’s Texas-based communities — Edgemere in Dallas, The Stayton at Museum Way in Fort Worth, and Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin.
Bowser brings more than 18 years of senior living sales and marketing experience to her role. Previously, she served as regional sales manager for HumanGood, a California-based nonprofit senior living organization, where she oversaw sales and marketing teams at nine retirement communities.

Most recently, he served as vice president of asset management at Cascade Capital Group, an Illinois-based healthcare real estate investment and asset management firm.
Bowser is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where she received her bachelor’s degree in human services management. Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. He is a licensed nursing home administrator.
