RESEDA, Calif. — Los Angeles Jewish Home has appointed Andrew Berman, an entertainment industry veteran with over 35 years of experience in global sales, marketing, and content acquisition, to a two-year term as chair of the board of directors.
Berman has a long history of philanthropic involvement in his local community, including with the Jewish Home. His focus at the Jewish Home is expanding programs and services to cover Los Angeles’ growing senior population.
In addition to his work with the Jewish Home, Berman has served in a volunteer capacity with organizations including the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, Stephen Wise Temple and Connecting to Cure.
Berman graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film.
Founded in 1912, the nonprofit Los Angeles Jewish Home is among the largest providers of senior healthcare services in Los Angeles.
