NORTH BETHESDA, Md. — ML Group has spearheaded the design of planned renovations at The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda, a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Although a specific development price was not disclosed, the project was described as a “multi-million-dollar renovation.” The community was also recently rebranded and new leadership was hired, including senior executive director Laura Holden.
“North Bethesda is one of Maryland’s most desirable neighborhoods, and our residents appreciate the blend of urban and suburban living with access to dynamic shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural experiences,” says Holden.
The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane spans approximately 84,000 square feet and includes 101 assisted living apartments on four floors. Planned improvements include a fully renovated lobby, main dining room, café and bar.
Work has begun on the corridors and residences, which will all have upgraded bathrooms, kitchenettes, flooring and lighting.
“Tuckerman is also exploring the possibility of adding a dedicated memory care neighborhood on the fourth floor, which would offer an innovative solution to residents’ clinical needs,” says Holden.
The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane offers assisted living and respite care, as well as onsite skilled nursing at Tuckerman Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
