NEW YORK CITY — Monticello Asset Management LLC has hired Steven Caligor as senior managing director, where he will be responsible for product development, expanding banking relationships, and assisting with credit and risk management.
Caligor has nearly 30 years of commercial finance experience within the healthcare, real estate, C&I, apparel, medical, technology, retail and manufacturing sectors.
Caligor most recently was division executive at Bank Hapoalim, where he managed the commercial real estate, food and commodities, and corporate finance loan portfolio teams. While there, he also helped launch a healthcare lending platform. Previously, he was a vice president and regional executive at Bank Leumi USA, managing four lending teams covering the region’s C&I, healthcare and equipment finance lending activities.
Caligor holds an M.B.A. in finance and investments and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business from George Washington University.
