ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), an Annapolis-based nonprofit firm that tracks industry data, has named Jamie Gray as director of volunteer engagement.
Gray will oversee NIC’s volunteer relations to help achieve its strategic objective to increase volunteer engagement. She will develop programs to recruit, onboard, and integrate new volunteers, and build a robust system of training, support and stewardship to support staff’s work to maximize the talents and contributions of NIC volunteers.
Gray is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) with extensive experience designing and promoting tools and programs to support volunteer engagement, leadership development and governance, sharing best practices with global audiences, and collaborating with staff and volunteers at all levels. She was the volunteer engagement specialist at the Project Management Institute for more than a decade, where she served as the staff liaison for two strategic-level volunteer committees and ensured effective recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers across departments.
