CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Senior Dining Association (SDA) will host the first Senior Dining Association Conference and Expo, to be held March 17-20 in Charlotte.
The conference will offer a range of learning opportunities for senior dining professionals, as well as a chance to network with colleagues from across the country.
“The conference and expo are the industry’s foremost gathering of senior dining professionals,” says Harris Ader, the association’s founder and CEO. “They provide an unmatched opportunity to pick up essential skills and remind yourself why you’re passionate about senior dining.”
The SDA is the first professional/trade organization focused entirely on dining for the seniors housing industry. Its purpose is to connect hospitality industry professionals with careers in seniors housing and support current talent with the training and resources they need to achieve their potential.
Communities often struggle to recruit and retain high-quality dining staff, explained Ader, a 20-year senior foodservice veteran.
“Food is at the heart of any senior living community,” he said. “The SDA is committed to improving the industry by bringing operators and industry partners together.”
