PLANO, Texas — The Legacy Senior Communities, a nonprofit organization based in Plano, has elected Jerry Rasansky as chair of the board of trustees.
Rasansky has served the organization in various roles, including chairing the board for The Legacy Preston Hollow – Dallas Home for Jewish Aged. He steps into this leadership role as the organization begins construction of The Legacy Midtown Park, a continuing care retirement community in Dallas. He also comes into the role following a series of strategic planning sessions that laid out goals for the organization’s next five years.
MarcStanley is the former chair of the board for The Legacy Senior Communities and will now step into the role as chair of the board for The Legacy Senior Communities Endowment Foundation. Carol Aaron is the chair of the board of directors of The Legacy Midtown Park and also previously served in Rasansky’s new role.
The Legacy Senior Communities operates three entities in Texas: The Legacy Willow Bend, a continuing care retirement community in Plano; The Legacy Midtown Park, a continuing care retirement community under construction in Dallas; and The Legacy at Home, a nonprofit home health agency and hospice service.
