Caddis to Develop 168-Unit Heartis Community in Georgia

by Jeff Shaw

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Caddis, a healthcare real estate firm based in Dallas, has announced its plans to develop Heartis Fayetteville, a 168-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community in the Atlanta suburb of Fayetteville.

The new community is the first of a planned Southeast expansion for the developer. It will feature three buildings totaling 157,029 square feet that will house 80 independent living units, 56 assisted living apartments and 32 memory care units.

Caddis expects to finish construction during the third quarter of 2017. The company cited strong population growth among seniors as its reason to focus on the Southeast and the Atlanta area in particular.

When completed, Portland, Ore.-based Frontier Management will operate the community. Atlanta-based Pate Design Group will serve as the architect on the project.
