BALTIMORE — Erickson Living, a Baltimore-based developer and operator of continuing care retirement communities, has hired Sean Sands as the company’s new vice president of business strategy and development.
Sands will oversee all aspects of strategy and business development to support the company’s growth and business opportunities.
Sands most recently served as the regional vice president and head of the Maryland corporate banking division of Wells Fargo. Previously he served as a principal and investment banking professional with SC&H Capital. Before that, he spent 10 years as a senior relationship manager in commercial banking with Wells Fargo predecessors Wachovia Bank and First Union National Bank. He began his commercial banking career with First National Bank of Maryland.
Sands holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in finance from Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business. In 2004 he was named to Baltimore Business Journal’s “40 under 40” list of young business leaders.
