Richard Nordsiek Named Executive Director of 327-Unit CCRC Near Los Angeles

FULLERTON, Calif. — Morningside, a 327-unit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the Los Angeles suburb of Fullerton, has named Richard Nordsiek as its new executive director.

Nordsiek previously served as executive director at Rowntree Gardens, a CCRC in nearby Stanton.

A longtime employee of the community, Nordsiek began his career at Rowntree Gardens as a member of the dining services team. He rose to dining room supervisor, director of transportation and purchasing, and director of support services before being named executive director in 2013.

Nordsiek is a licensed nursing home administrator and a certified administrator for the Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Born and raised in Anaheim, Nordsiek graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
