NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J. — Erickson Living, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) developer and operator, has opened the doors on Lantern Hill, a 360-unit CCRC in New Providence, approximately 30 miles west of New York City.
When all phases of construction are complete, the community will feature 275 units of independent living and 85 total units for assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing in five interconnected buildings.
More than 161 units were pre-sold since the community’s sales center opened in April 2014, according to Erickson.
Design, development and construction took nearly five years. Lantern Hill is the third Erickson community in New Jersey. The company is currently expanding its communities in seven states and are developing two new communities in North Carolina and Florida.
