NEW YORK CITY — Amy Heller has joined Meridian Capital Group as a senior managing director with the firm’s senior housing and healthcare group.

Founded in 1991, New York City-based Meridian is a commercial real estate finance, investment sales and retail leasing advisor. Meridian serves as a financial intermediary for commercial seniors housing and healthcare properties in the U.S., covering both debt brokerage and investment sales across skilled nursing, seniors housing and medical office properties. In 2024, the firm originated a total of roughly $4.7 billion in healthcare-related debt financing for clients.

Heller, who will focus on healthcare-related debt brokerage with Meridian, has more than two decades of experience in healthcare finance. Prior to joining Meridian, she founded and acted as president and co-chief lending officer of the HUD lending divisions at Forbright Bank. Heller’s tenure also includes leadership roles with HealthCare Financial Partners, Heller Financial and CapitalSource Finance.

“We are thrilled to welcome Amy to our healthcare team,” says Brian Brooks, chairman and CEO of Meridian. “Amy’s expertise and insights will be instrumental as we work towards closing our multibillion-dollar healthcare loan pipeline.”
