FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Acts Retirement-Life Communities, a nonprofit operator based in Fort Washington, has appointed Dr. Paul Reinbold as vice president and chief medical director, and Deirdre Groenen as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
Reinbold has served as medical director at several senior living properties since 1995. He most recently served as the corporate medical director and clinical operations advisor to the CEO at Integrace, prior to its affiliation with Acts. He has continued to serve as the medical director of Bayleigh Chase in Easton, Maryland.
Reinbold previously served as chief of the medical staff for the University of Maryland-Shore Medical Center Easton. He is certified as a medical director by the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Reinbold holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Delaware and a medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Groenen is an experienced employment attorney and counselor, and a seasoned human resource professional. Since being admitted to the bar in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she has worked as employment counsel for a wide variety of clients and served as vice president of human resources and general counsel in the private sector.
Groenen is an adjunct professor at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, focusing on the legal aspects of human resource management and the legal environment of business.
