BOCA RATON, Fla. — Acts Retirement-Life Communities has completed two renovation projects totaling more than $6 million to two of its communities in Boca Raton.

The first project, totaling nearly $2 million, was the addition of a Life Enrichment Center at St. Andrews Estates. The wellness center will offer free health screenings to help predict those more at risk for falls, frailty and decline years before the first symptoms appear.

The second project was a $4.3 million clubhouse renovation at Edgewater at Boca Pointe. The common areas now feature a new lounge and bistro. This follows other upgrades to the community in 2018, including a large multi-purpose performing arts center, renovated hair salon and a resident-run specialty shop.
