ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Arrow Senior Living Management, a St. Charles-based senior living operator, has appointed Cora Butler as the company’s chief wellness officer.
The hire was made as part of the company’s expansion into middle-market independent living, assisted living and memory care. Arrow is currently developing properties that will double its portfolio of 1,450 units in Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Florida.
With dual degrees in law and nursing, Butler specializes in predictive technology implementation, legal and regulatory compliance, and managed care insurance.
Arrow Senior Living has worked closely with Butler over the past several years as president and CEO of HealthCore Value Advisors, a company founded by Butler in 2014. She was instrumental in implementing the predictive detection technology currently used by Arrow Senior Living to provide a safer, more secure and healthier environment for residents.
Prior to starting her company, Butler was Director of Commercial Operations for Primaris, which at the time was Missouri’s federally designated Quality Improvement Organization. Earlier in her career, she developed and implemented a comprehensive outcomes-based managed care program for Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Co., Missouri’s largest writer of workers’ compensation insurance.
In addition to a graduate certificate in healthcare corporate compliance from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in health services management.
