LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Atria Senior Living, a Louisville-based operator of more than 22,000 seniors housing units, has hired Eric Leef as chief human resources officer and Kelli Corney as vice president of strategic marketing and creative, while promoting Regan Atkinson to senior vice president of new product development.

Leef will lead the company’s human resources, talent acquisition and training functions. He has more than 16 years of HR leadership at GE Appliances and its predecessor, General Electric. In his most recent role with GE, he led HR support for 8,000 supply chain employees in the U.S., Korea and China.

Leading new product development at the company is Atkinson, who most recently served as Atria’s senior vice president of strategic marketing and communications. In her new role, a new one for the company, Atkinson will drive new product development, including leading Atria’s brand development efforts.

Atkinson will lead Atria’s efforts with respect to the high-end brand the company is developing with Related Cos. of New York. She will also help Atria develop its new mid-market brand, Gladwell, as the company seeks ways to offer high quality senior housing and services to more customers in thoughtful ways.

Atkinson’s move to her new role led to the hiring of Corney, who joins Atria after co-founding Louisville-based advertising agency Mightily. She previously worked at NBCUniversal out of both Chicago and London, working ad sales and creative solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
