VENICE, Fla. — Caddis has announced plans for Heartis Venice, a 182-unit seniors housing community in the Gulf Coast city of Venice.
The 191,000-square-foot community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2020.
This will be Caddis’ first community in Florida. The company has largely built its Heartis-branded communities in its home state of Texas.
Caddis CEO Jason L. Signor said that the Dallas-based national healthcare real estate firm is well known for its Heartis senior communities in Texas, but has been expanding into other areas of the country.
“During the past couple of years, Caddis began developing and opening new Heartis communities in the Midwest in Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as in the Southeast in Georgia,” says Jason Signor, CEO of Caddis.
Solvere Living, a St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm, will manage the property upon completion. Lantz-Boggio is the architect and Freese Johnson is the general contractor.
