NEW YORK CITY — Capital One has named Dana Scheppmann and David Harper as regional relationship managers for long-term care real estate lending.
Both Scheppmann and Harper joined New York-based Capital One in 2015, when it acquired GE Capital’s healthcare finance unit. In their new roles, they will provide lending solutions to clients, drawing on Capital One’s ability to offer balance sheet, agency, and HUD lending, and as well as treasury management services. Scheppmann will be responsible for the Northeast while Harper will focus on the Southeast.
Scheppmann has more than eight years’ experience in healthcare real estate, having structured, underwritten and closed more than 100 loans during her career. She most recently served as a team lead at Capital One, managing a group of underwriters and portfolio managers specializing in seniors housing, skilled nursing and medical office real estate lending.
Before assuming his current post, Harper was responsible for the underwriting and portfolio management teams for the real estate business, focusing on the medical office, seniors housing, skilled nursing and REIT segments. At GE Capital, he held various leadership positions within its real estate group, on the debt and equity sides, including overseeing its real estate capital markets activities. Harper has more than 18 years of healthcare real estate experience.
