DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Solvere Living has opened the sales center at Sunscape Daytona Beach, an 85-unit seniors housing community in Daytona Beach, located along the Atlantic Ocean northeast of Orlando. Upon completion, scheduled for late this year, the community will feature 65 assisted living units and 20 memory care units. Solvere Living, the operations management division of St. Petersburg-based Solutions Advisors Group (SAG), will be the operator. Protea Capital Partners is the owner and developer. Irwin Partners Architects designed the community.

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Capitol Seniors Housing has broken ground on Arbor Terrace Marlton, a project in Evesham Township near Philadelphia that will consist of 60 assisted living apartments and 27 memory care units. The 76,500-square-foot community will be located near several major medical facilities and will offer amenities such as a private dining area, theater, bistro, hair salon, lounges and outdoor amenity spaces with artwork and a pond. The community features 122 senior living apartments in the 106,000-square-foot-building. OAK PARK, Ill. — American House Senior Living Communities has received financing for its latest senior living project in Oak Park, eight miles west of downtown Chicago. American House Oak Park will be a seven-story seniors housing community featuring 76 independent living, 66 assisted living and 35 memory care units. Expected to open fall 2022, demolition work was completed in late February and construction began in March. American House will operate the community upon completion.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Alliance Residential has started construction on Holden of Pearl, a 16-story seniors housing community in the Pearl District of downtown Portland. The 237-unit community will offer apartments for rent that cater to residents seeking both independent and assisted living, while also reserving a separate, private community for memory care residents. GARLAND, Texas — Locally based developer Palladium USA is underway on construction of a 122-unit mixed-income seniors housing project in Garland, a northeastern suburb of Dallas. Designed by HEDK Architects, the development will consist of 92 units that will be reserved for renters aged 62 and above who earn 60 percent or less of the area median income. The remaining 30 units will be rented at market rates. Amenities will include a fitness center, computer lab, library and a theater. Completion is scheduled for June 2022.

MIAMI — BHI, through its Healthcare Group. has arranged $41.9 million in construction financing for the Oasis at Coral Reef, a luxury senior living facility under development in Miami. The 217,123-square-foot property is located adjacent to Jackson South Medical Center. BHI has provided $31.9 million and Coastal States Bank provided $10 million.
