SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. — Arch Communities and WinnCompanies have completed a $25.7 million adaptive reuse project to transform a 106-year-old historic school building in Southbridge into apartments for seniors age 55 and older. The Residences at Wells School features 62 apartments, 56 of which provide affordable housing for those earning up to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), including eight apartments reserved for residents at or below 30 percent of the AMI. PASADENA, Calif. — R.D. Olson Construction, on behalf of owner BRIDGE Housing, has broken ground on Heritage Square South, a seniors housing property located at 710 N. Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena. Slated for completion by September 2023, the $28 million, 70,000-square-foot community will feature three three-story buildings offering 69 one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom unit. Lockwood Breaks Ground on $45M Community in Ann Arbor, Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Lockwood Cos. has broken ground on Lockwood of Ann Arbor, a 154-unit seniors housing community in Ann Arbor. The three-story, 168,130-square-foot building includes 65 units dedicated as affordable housing. Development costs were estimated at $45 million. Rents will range from $864 for a one-bedroom apartment to $2,750 for a two-bedroom apartment.

Spiezle Completes 75,000 SF Addition to Parker at Somerset in New Jersey

SOMERSET, N.J. — Spiezle Architectural Group Inc. has completed an expansion project at the Parker at Somerset Senior Healthcare Center in Somerset, approximately 35 miles southwest of Manhattan. VANCOUVER, Wash. — CBRE has arranged $145.1 million in construction financing for The Springs at The Waterfront, a seniors housing development in Vancouver, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Ore. The borrower is a joint venture between private equity firm Harrison Street, seniors housing operator The Springs Living and healthcare real estate developer PMB. NEW YORK CITY — Lendlease has topped out Garden Towers, an affordable seniors housing community in the Bronx. Foxy Management is developing the property in partnership with HANAC Inc. and JLD Advisory LLC. PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — ANF Group Inc. and Providence One Partners have broken ground on Providence Living at Pembroke Pines, an assisted living and memory care community in the Miami suburb of Pembroke Pines. The two-story, 114,003-square-foot property is located on 3.2 acres near Pembroke Pines City Center.and will feature 117 units, totaling 121 beds. Integral Senior Living to Operate Two Communities in Texas, Arizona

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas, and QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — Integral Senior Living has taken oer operations of Sage Valley Senior Living in Pflugerville and Mojave Sage Senior Living in Queen Creek. Both properties provide assisted living and memory care services. This addition comes shortly after ISL announced expanding its portfolio with four new communities in Utah and Nevada. Investcor owns the communities. Sage Valley is set to open its doors early 2023, with Mojave Sage opening in 2024.
