ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland has broken ground on Phase II of its expansion at Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant. ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Tapestry House Memory Care in Alpharetta, a suburb north of Atlanta. The community sits on 1.9 acres offering 42 units of memory care. The seller, Insignia Senior Living, is divesting of its U.S.-based assets to focus on core geographic markets in Puerto Rico and Latin America. Anthem Memory Care Assumes Management of Communities in Illinois, Wisconsin

SLIB Brokers Sale of 60-Unit Rosecastle of Deerwood Memory Care Community in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Rosecastle of Deerwood, a 60-unit memory care community in Jacksonville. The asset was built in 2015 on approximately 3.4 acres. The buyer was a Florida-based entity using a 1031 exchange. The seller and price were not disclosed. Brad Clousing and Daniel Geraghty led the transaction for SLIB.

Hunt Midwest, Principal Senior Living Complete Memory Care Expansion at Benton House of Olathe in Kansas

OLATHE, Kan. — Hunt Midwest and Principal Senior Living Group have completed a 21-unit memory care expansion at Benton House of Olathe, approximately 20 miles southwest of Kansas City. The expansion more than doubles the number of memory care apartments available in the community’s Beacon Neighborhood. Residents are scheduled to move in to the new apartments in March. Blueprint Arranges Sale of Community in Dayton, Ohio for Behavioral Health Conversion

DAYTON, Ohio — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has negotiated the sale of a memory care community in Dayton, and the buyer plans to convert the property into a substance use disorder clinic. A seniors housing operator and its institutional capital partner decided to exit the property, and the highest offers were from behavioral health companies, according to Blueprint. Further details on the buyer, seller and price were not disclosed. Andrew Sfreddo, Shane Harmon, Gunnar Raney, Amy Sitzman and Giancarlo Riso led the Blueprint team.
