They will provide leadership and oversight for 16 communities. Thomas was executive director for Chelsea Place in Aurora, Colorado. LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Anthem Memory Care has assumed management of Pinnacle Place Memory Care, formerly known as Avenir of Little Rock.  Under the agreement, Anthem Memory Care now manages all aspects of the community’s operations and will add regional staff, technology and training programs to adapt the community to its approach to care. The new property, located in Little Rock, brings Anthem’s portfolio up to 20 properties and marks the Oregon-based operator’s entry into Arkansas.

MANASSAS, Va. — Commonwealth Senior Living has acquired UVA Health Caton Merchant House, a seniors housing community in the western D.C. suburb of Manassas.  The purchase marks the buyer’s 28th community in Virginia, and it will be rebranded as Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas.  Commonwealth plans to implement a complete renovation which includes updating all of the apartments and public areas as well as the addition of a new memory care neighborhood. BEAVERTON, ORE. — Walker & Dunlop has arranged a $15.2 million loan for the refinancing of Waterhouse Ridge Memory Care in Beaverton, just west of Portland. Located at 1115 NW 158th Ave., Waterhouse Ridge features 68 memory care beds. Onelife Senior Living developed, owns and operates the facility, which is currently 88 percent occupied. The seller is a San Diego-based developer and operator looking to focus its resources on a newly developed portfolio of communities throughout Orange and San Diego counties. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Berkadia has arranged the financing of a 72-bed memory care facility in Colorado Springs.  Jay Healy and Andrew Lanzaro of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare secured a $14.4 million bridge loan to retire the existing construction debt and transaction costs. Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare was able to offer an 18-month, floating-rate, bridge-to-HUD loan to allow the borrower enough time to continue improving NOI to a level that will support a HUD refinancing.
