Marcus & Associates, Buckley Shuler Broker Sale of 38-Unit St. Ives Memory Care in Johns Creek, Georgia

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Marcus & Associates and Buckley Shuler Properties have arranged the sale of St. Ives Memory Care, a 38-unit standalone memory care community in the Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek. Regional owner-operator Solinity was the buyer. The seller and price were not disclosed. The property experienced operational setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as complications from a winter freeze that caused flooding and insurance issues.Marcus Van Ameringen of Marcus & Associates handled the transaction.

Anthem Appoints Tiffany Bell as Executive Director of Community in Rochester, Minnesota

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Anthem Memory Care has promoted Tiffany Bell to executive director for Cascade Creek in Rochester, approximately 100 miles southeast of Minneapolis.  Bell most recently was life engagement director for Cascade Creek. Previously she was life enrichment director for Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson.  The certified dementia practitioner brings over 23 years of senior living experience to this position. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in gerontology and family studies from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Anthem Memory Care Appoints Laporsha Chavers as Executive Director for Community in Tinley Park, Illinois

TINLEY PARK, Ill. — Anthem Memory Care has promoted Laporsha Chavers to executive director for Porter Place in Tinley Park, approximately 25 miles southwest of Chicago.  Chavers previously was associate executive director for Porter Place. She also served as associate executive director for Grace Point Place, an Anthem community in nearby Oak Lawn. The certified dementia care practitioner brings over 18 years of senior living experience to this position. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Governors State University and an MBA from Purdue University.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Tapestry House Memory Care in Alpharetta, a suburb north of Atlanta. The community sits on 1.9 acres offering 42 units of memory care. The seller, Insignia Senior Living, is divesting of its U.S.-based assets to focus on core geographic markets in Puerto Rico and Latin America. Anthem Memory Care Assumes Management of Communities in Illinois, Wisconsin
