Waltonwood-Lead-Mine_Raleigh-N.C

RALEIGH, N.C. — Singh Development has completed and opened Waltonwood Lead Mine, a new luxury seniors housing community located in Raleigh.  Architecture and design firm Cline designed the property, which features assisted living and memory care residences. The community has the capacity for up to 100 residents and will be operated under Singh’s Waltonwood Senior Living brand.  The project team also included Choate Construction, Lighthouse Engineering and structural engineer Hauser and Creech.

INDIAN LAND, S.C. and MATTHEWS, N.C. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of a two-property portfolio situated in the Charlotte metro. The portfolio includes Ambriant at Avondale in Indian Land, South Carolina, and Ambriant at Austin Village in Matthews, North Carolina.  Ambriant at Avondale comprises 122 independent living units. MORRISVILLE and CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Principal Asset Management has acquired two active adult communities totaling 373 units in the Raleigh-Durham region of North Carolina. The properties include Overture Cary, located in Morrisville, and Overture Chapel Hill, situated near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The communities were developed in 2021 and 2020, respectively, and stand at five stories. The seller and sales price were not released.

WAKE COUNTRY, N.C. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has brokered the sale of a portfolio located in Wake County.  A regional owner sold the portfolio, which totals 75 beds. At the time of sale, the seller was eliminating assisted living options at the properties, skilled nursing facilities.  A national operator acquired the portfolio for an undisclosed price. Patrick Burke, Toby Siefert and Jason Punzel of SLIB represented the seller in the transaction.

Greensboro, N.C. — Berkadia has arranged a $71.3 million loan for the refinancing of Abbotswood at Irving Park, a senior living community located in Greensboro. KISCO Senior Living was the borrower.  Austin Sacco, Steve Muth, Garrett Sacco and Alec Rosenfeld of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare secured the financing through Freddie Mac.  Located at 3504 Flint St., Abbotswood at Irving Park offers cottages and independent living and assisted living units, as well as memory care suites.
