Blueprint Negotiates Sale of 84-Bed Victoria House in Austintown, Ohio

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of Victoria House in Austintown, approximately 10 minutes west of downtown Youngstown. The property features 64 units, totaling 84 licensed beds and 72 operational beds. The community opened in December 2005 and features a secured specialty care wing for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Blueprint successfully negotiated a lease of the community several years ago to a regional operator, Continuing Healthcare Solutions, which has now successfully exercised its purchase option to acquire the community.

SLIB Brokers Sale of 29-Unit Emerson House Portland in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Emerson House Portland, a memory care community in Portland. The property features 29 units totaling 55 bed. It was built in 1999 and renovated in 2013, now totaling 15,000 square feet on one third of an acre. A regional owner-operator existing the industry sold the asset to an Oregon-based operator for an undisclosed price. Benchmark Acquires Evolve at Rye Memory Care Community in New Hampshire

RYE, N.H. — Benchmark Senior Living has acquired the real estate and operations of Evolve at Rye, a 40-unit memory care community in Rye, located approximately midway between Boston and Portland, Maine. Benchmark operates 62 seniors housing communities in New England, of which 60 feature memory care services. Merrill Commercial Real Estate Negotiates Sale of 55-Unit Memory Care Community in Oregon

COOS BAY, Ore. — Merrill Commercial Real Estate has arranged the sale of a 55-unit memory care community in Coos Bay, located along the Pacific Coast in the southern portion of the state. The 28,000-square-foot community was vacant since 2018. It was part of a portfolio of four seniors housing properties that went into receivership in 2019. The sales price was $3 million, or $54,545 per unit. Tyler Merrill of Merrill represented the undisclosed seller, while Dan Mahoney of Blueprint Real Estate Advisors represented the undisclosed buyer.

Anthem Appoints Angie Erickson as Executive Director of Willowbrook Place Near Denver

LITTLETON, Colo. — Anthem Memory Care has named Angie Erickson as executive director of Willowbrook Place, a memory care community in the Denver suburb of Littleton. Erickson previously worked for Leisure Care, serving as sales manager and general manager of Denver’s Carillon at Belleview Station. She has also been general manager of MacKenzie Place in Colorado Springs and Treeo, a senior living community in Utah.
