ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Ziegler has arranged $32.5 million in bond financing for Christian Living Neighborhoods, a nonprofit owner-operator based in Englewood. The borrower comprises three communities in Colorado — Holly Creek, Someren Glen and Clermont Park — and is one of the largest senior living systems in Colorado with a total of 782 units, according to Ziegler. GREELEY, Colo. — Dallas-based Edison Equity Management has received $23 million in construction financing for the development of 55 Resort Apartments, an age-restricted multifamily property located in Greeley. Located on the former site of the Garnsey & Wheeler Ford dealership, 55 Resort Apartments will feature 84 apartments for adults age 55 and above. AURORA, Colo. — Anthem Memory Care has named Jennifer Davidson as executive director for Chelsea, a memory care community in Aurora. In this capacity, she will oversee all daily care, programming and operations. Davidson was senior general manager for the Carillion at Belleview Station in Denver. She was also area director of operations for Lincoln Meadows Senior Living in Parker. Davidson brings over 20 years of senior living experience to this position. MONUMENT, Colo.— WellAge has selected Cindy Batey to serve as the executive director of Jackson Creek Senior Living in Monument. Batey will oversee operations for Jackson Creek’s 137 independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments. BALTIMORE — Capital Funding Group, a Baltimore-based lender, has provided a $262.6 million term loan to refinance a 29-asset long-term care portfolio. Spanning Colorado, California and Wyoming, the portfolio includes 28 skilled nursing facilities and one joint skilled nursing and assisted living facility, with a total of 3,140 beds. The borrower is a privately owned real estate investment group. Erik Howard and Director Tim Eberhardt originated the transaction for Capital Funding Group.

LITTLETON, Colo. — Athem Memory Care has named Danae Mierau as executive director of Willowbrook Place in Littleton. She will be overseeing all daily care, programming and operations. Mierau previously was director of rehabilitation and physical therapy with Legacy Healthcare in Littleton. She has also served as a physical therapist with Berkley Home Health Care in Aurora. Mierau graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Missouri.

LOVELAND, Colo. — Hunt Midwest has broken ground on The Capstone at Centerra, a 78,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community in Loveland. Located within the 3,000-acre, master-planned Centerra development, the community is projected to open in late 2022. Integral Senior Living (ISL) will be the operator of the 102-unit property.

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — MorningStar Senior Living and Edgemark Development LLC have unveiled plans for MorningStar Senior Living at Holly Park in the Denver suburb of Centennial. Groundbreaking is scheduled for fourth-quarter 2021 for planned completion in 2023. The four-story project will be located on three acres and offer 160 units of independent living, assisted living and memory care. This will be MorningStar’s second location in Centennial and 13th in Colorado. MorningStar and Edgemark will co-develop and own the community.

LAKEWOOD, COLO. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of The Homestead at Lakewood, a seniors housing property in Lakewood. An undisclosed buyer acquired the property for $8.3 million. Greg Parker and Greg Price of Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office represented the seller, a private investor, in the deal. Phillip Gause of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. arranged acquisition financing for the buyer.
