POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Summit Contracting Group has broken ground on Siena Pointe, a seniors housing community in unincorporated northeast Polk County near Orlando. Siena Pointe will be a U-shaped, four-story, wood-frame building on a seven-acre site. The property will feature 163 units of seniors housing in a 194,127-square-foot building. Construction is slated for completion in fall 2021. The developer is Eastwind Development LLC and the architect is Forum Architecture & Interior Design Inc.

DALLAS, Ore. — Dallas Retirement Village, a seniors housing community in the Salem suburb of Dallas, has started construction of its Phase II expansion, known as Lodge Residences. HOUSTON — Kare, a digital labor marketplace for post-acute and senior care based in Houston, has hired Steph Kolbo as chief growth officer. Kolbo joins Kare after a decade at NRC Health, a healthcare customer intelligence company. PLANO, Texas — Forefront Living, a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing senior living and hospice services in the Dallas area, is seeking approval from Plano city officials to develop a senior living community in West Plano. The proposed community, The Outlook at Windhaven, would provide up to 190 independent living residences: a 160-unit apartment building with underground parking and 30 cottage homes. Located in Wenatchee, in the central part of Washington between Seattle and Spokane, the property features 62 beds. The borrower is a limited liability company based in Washington state. Cambridge Realty Capital Ltd. of Illinois, the Cambridge business that specializes in underwriting FHA-insured loans, underwrote the transaction. The 32-year loan is fully amortizing.
