SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — Frampton Construction Co. has completed work on The Blake at Carnes Crossroads, a 100-unit assisted living and memory care community in Summerville, approximately 25 miles northwest of Charleston.
The 84,000-square foot building, which sits on a 3.7-acre site, is the front gate anchor for the Carnes Crossroads community, a master planned community developed by the Daniel Island Co. The project features medical offices, shops, restaurants, a school, parks and a church.
This is the third Blake project for Frampton Construction has built for the developer, Cardinal Ventures. Its sister facilities, both located in South Carolina, are The Blake at Woodcreek Farms in Elgin and The Blake at Edgewater in Indian Land. Blake Management Group operates all three communities.
Frampton provided planning, design support, preconstruction, construction and sustainability services throughout the development. Construction began in March 2016.
