VERO BEACH, Fla. — Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA), a regional senior living operator and developer company, has promoted Kim Lewis to chief operating officer.
Lewis served five years as Vero Beach-based HRA’s vice president of operations. She replaces Sarabeth Hanson, who was recently promoted to president and CEO.
In her new role, Lewis will oversee HRA operations, leadership talent acquisition, operational strategies and innovation. She will also partner with the development team in assuring new development communities effectively support operations while retaining a hospitality focus.
Lewis has more than 20 years of experience in senior living operations management. Prior to joining HRA, she worked at The Care Bridge Corporation/SLC for eight years. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Brookdale Senior Living. Titles during her career have included home health administrator, assisted living administrator, executive director, district director, regional director and vice president.
Lewis is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator, Certified Dementia Instructor, former Florida Department of Elder Affairs Core Training speaker, and a member of Florida Argentum.
