NEW YORK CITY — Hunt Mortgage Group, a New York-based lender, has hired Patrick McFarland as a managing director.
In his new role, McFarland is responsible for originating debt for Hunt Mortgage Group’s conventional and small-balance Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan programs, as well as Hunt’s proprietary commercial, bridge and mezzanine loan programs for clients in the Southwest. He will be based in the firm’s Dallas office and will report to Vic Clark, senior managing director.
McFarland comes to Hunt Mortgage Group from Churchill Capital Co. where he was a senior vice president. Prior to that he was a commercial real estate consultant/appraiser at The Jay Massey Company. Earlier in his career he held positions at Sun America Planning Centers and Fidelity Investments.
McFarland earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University.
