Imprint Property Group, Batson-Cook Development Break Ground on Larkspur at Creekside Near San Antonio

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A joint venture between Imprint Property Group (IPG) and Batson-Cook Development Co. (BCDC) has broken ground on Larkspur at Creekside, an active adult community in the San Antonio suburb of New Braunfels.

The 184-unit project marks the first partnership between boutique developer IPG and BCDC, an Atlanta-based subsidiary of Japanese construction company Kajima Corp.

The nine-acre development will be an anchor of the master-planned New Braunfels Town Centre,  a 400-acre community located 32 miles northeast of San Antonio and 48 miles southwest of Austin.  Larkspur at Creekside sits directly next to a 1.8-acre green space and is adjacent to the $150 million Resolute Health Hospital and Wellness Center campus. The site has direct access to over one million square feet of Class A retail.

The property will feature 15,000 feet of amenity space, and units will average 1,000 square feet.

IPG currently owns and operates two other Larkspur communities in Allen and Pearland, which the firm also developed from the ground up. IPG is in pre-development on its fourth Texas Larkspur community in Round Rock, with plans to expand Larkspur communities into New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia.

Larkspur at Creekside is scheduled to open its doors in the summer of 2022. Amegy Bank and Fast Preferred Equity are providing financing. HEDK Architects of Dallas is the architect, and Godfrey Construction Co. of College Station is the general contractor.
