EXCELSIOR, Minn. — Lancaster Pollard has opened an office in Excelsior, about 20 miles west of Minneapolis, to be led by Quintin Harris, senior vice president with the firm.
Lancaster Pollard is a financial services firm for healthcare and seniors housing providers.
“We decided late last year to establish an office in Minneapolis because Minnesota is home to a number of top senior housing providers,” says Nick Gesue, the company’s CEO. “As we continue to grow and expand our platform of services, being closer to our clients and partners in Minnesota is important.”
Minnesota is ranked No. 1 in the U.S. for long-term care, according to the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).
Harris has been with Lancaster Pollard since 2005 and is the lead investment banker for clients in Minnesota and Iowa. Throughout his career at Lancaster Pollard, he has closed 73 transactions totaling approximately $525 million, and won the firm’s Deal of the Year award in 2011. Before joining Lancaster Pollard, Harris worked in international development in South America and Central Asia. He earned his M.B.A. from the Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa.
