DES MOINES, Iowa — Lifespace Communities, a nonprofit operator of continuing care retirement communities, has hired Jodi Bleier as vice president of financial operations and strategic growth and Brian Devlin as director of design, construction and development.
Bleier is a 17-year veteran of the industry, including oversight of lead generation strategies, programs for acquisitions and mergers, and business development and financial analysis. Most recently, she served as director of the health care consulting group and senior living practice at Dixon Hughes Goodman in Atlanta.
Devlin has 13 years of experience in senior living project development, leading over $700 million in development and building efforts for companies such as Greystone Communities and Greenbrier Development.
Bleier received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and her master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and health science (MHS) from the University of Florida. Devlin received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Texas Tech University.
Based in Des Moines, Lifespace operates 12 communities in seven states. It is the 32nd largest seniors housing owner and 28th largest operator in the country, based on the American Seniors Housing Association’s ASHA 50 numbers from June 2015.
