JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A joint venture between OneStreet Residential and Atlantic Residential is preparing to open the doors at EVOQ Town Flats at Johns Creek, an active adult community in the northern Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek.
At least one resident at each apartment must be over 55 years old, though a second resident can be as young as 45.
“We have been successfully developing communities around Atlanta for 30 years and know there is a growing demographic of empty nesters who desire to maintain their social connections, but no longer want to spend the time or money necessary to maintain a big empty house,” says Dave Dixon, senior managing partner for OneStreet.
EVOQ will feature a full-service bakery located onsite, providing fresh-baked sweets and coffee not only to residents, but also to members of the community, something not currently being offered in the Johns Creek area according to the developers.
Both developers are long-time players in the Atlanta multifamily market. Northwest Mutual is providing equity for the project.
