STUART, Fla., and LONE TREE, Colo. — Prescient, a design, engineering, manufacturing and installation firm serving the construction industry, has provided services for seniors housing projects in Stuart and Lone Tree. The two communities represent Prescient’s entry into the senior living market.
Prescient structures consist of a combination of pre-assembled steel posts, trusses and panels that are custom-manufactured using the company’s design software. The system is a non-combustible solution that minimizes disruption in the areas surrounding the construction zone and reduces the need for rework, helping owners meet timelines and budgets, according the Prescient.
Prescient’s first seniors housing project was MorningStar at Ridgegate in Lone Tree, owned by MorningStar Senior Living. The 250,000-square-foot project consists of 124 independent living units, 71 assisted living units and 29 memory care suites. Lantz Boggio Architects designed the project, Haselden Construction built it, and MorningStar developed the property in conjunction with Jirsa Hedrick Structural Engineers.
Prescient’s second project was Providence Living at Stuart in Stuart, owned by Providence One Partners LLC. The 108,000-square-foot, two-story structure includes 68 assisted living units and 32 memory care suites. Baker Barrios designed the project, which F.M. Harvey Construction built.
