NEW YORK CITY — McAlpine Contracting, a general contracting and construction management firm active in New York, New Jersey, Vermont and Puerto Rico, has promoted Mark Montalvo to director of construction.
Montalvo previously served as senior project manager. The firm specializes in senior living, healthcare and commercial projects.
“Since joining the company in 2005, Mark has successfully managed some of McAlpine’s most challenging projects, including more than 10 senior living and nursing home developments,” says Troy Caruso, the company’s CEO.
In his new position, Montalvo will be based at the company’s headquarters in Manhattan and oversee the firm’s projects throughout the Northeast. His responsibilities will include management of estimating and bids, project logistics, construction activities, and close-outs. He will supervise site personnel and lead interactions with clients.
