SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Longtime seniors housing executive Brad Fuqua died of a heart attack on Friday, Nov. 8. He was 49 years old.
Fuqua was a longtime member of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA). He worked for 18 years as vice president of SeniorHousingNet, followed by a stint with Eldermark Software. He most recently served as vice president of market development at seniors housing marketing firm GlynnDevins.
“Brad will be long remembered for his knowledge and passion for the senior living business, his friendly and warm personality, and his love for his three children,” ASHA said in a press release.
Fuqua was a graduate of Michigan State University, after which he moved to Arizona to start a career in marketing, according to his obituary in The Arizona Republic.
