DALLAS —Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), a Dallas-based developer, has named Stan Waterhouse as the company’s president and CEO.
Waterhouse served as vice chairman of the board prior to his appointment. He has extensive management experience in the housing and hospitality industries. Most recently, Waterhouse served as chief operating ffficer for the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso (HACEP), where he led 500 employees and managed a $100 million annual budget.
His previous experience includes serving as vice president for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, spearheading the company’s expansion to include resorts, private residence clubs, lifestyle communities and golf assets throughout Asia, the U.S. and the Caribbean. He also served as regional vice president for Club Corp. of America, the world’s largest private club operator. He was responsible for 25 properties throughout the eastern U.S. and Canada, producing $65 million annually.
Waterhouse holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, American Hotel and Lodging Association, and National Golf Course Owners Association.
