PENSACOLA, Fla. — Florida-based general contractor Summit Contracting Group has started construction on Lucas Creek, an affordable seniors housing development in Pensacola, located on the panhandle near the Alabama border.
Lucas Creek will consist of 93 units in a three-story building, with a total square footage of 87,700. Residents must be over age 55 and meet income requirements. Development costs were estimated at $10 million.
Construction is scheduled for completion in Spring 2020. The developer is Vestcor and the architect is Group 4 Design Inc.
