ATLANTA — Thrive Senior Living has promoted Nicole Moberg to the role of chief operating officer. In her new role, Moberg will give leadership to the day-to-day operations for the Thrive portfolio of communities.
Moberg has worked for Thrive Senior Living since early 2018. In her previous role as chief sales officer, she increased Thrive move-ins by 100 percent year over year.
In addition to her experience in the senior living industry, Moberg has a background in the biotechnology and healthcare fields. Prior to joining Thrive, she served as chief sales officer at Millennium Health, a health solutions company, where she led a national sales team.
Previously, Moberg spent a decade teaching at the University of Central Florida (UCF). There, she co-designed its top-five nationally ranked professional selling program and received teaching awards for her role in curriculum design, student impact and corporate partnerships. She also served as business development leader for the university’s first Professional MBA Program.
Moberg holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), an undergraduate focus in business and hospitality management from Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU), and a master’s in change management from University of Central Florida.
Moberg completed the High Potential Leadership Program from Harvard Business School Executive Education and brings corporate board experience as well as formal training from the University of Washington’s Women Board Directors Development Program.
