VERO BEACH, Fla. — Watercrest Senior Living Group has hired Debra Gardner Hussey as the company’s new chief operating officer.
Hussey brings 25 years of experience in senior living operations, sales and marketing. Her career focus has in the development and mentoring of seniors housing teams, new community start-ups, turn-around operations and product development.
Hussey was previously regional director of Manor Care’s Southeastern division, regional director of Greystone communities and, most recently, senior vice president of operations for Benchmark Senior Living.
Hussey served as an ALFA Executive Roundtable member, and is a past board member of Massachusetts ALFA and co-chair of the Jericho Road project. She earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from UNC Chapel Hill and M.B.A. from George Washington University.
Based in Vero Beach, Watercrest Senior Living Group develops and operates seniors housing properties in Florida.
