INDIANAPOLIS — Ziegler has closed bond financings for Maple Knoll Communities and Westminster Village North (WVN), two affiliates of Indianapolis-based BHI Senior Living.
For Maple Knoll, the financing included roughly $23.5 million in Series 2026 Refunding Revenue Bonds. Proceeds from the bonds will be used to refund the nonprofits outstanding Series 2021B bank loans. Maple Knoll owns and operates two continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in southwest Ohio — Maple Knoll Village in Springdale and The Knolls of Oxford in Oxford. The communities total 395 independent living residences, 90 assisted living and memory care units and 153 skilled nursing beds.
WVN is a single-site nonprofit with a community in Indianapolis. The property totals 395 units across a continuum of care. The financing for WVN included $43 million in Series 2026 Refunding Revenue Bonds. Proceeds from the bonds will be used to refinance outstanding Series 2016 bank loans and fund roughly $2.1 million in capital expenditures.
