National Health Investors Hires John Spaid as Executive Vice President of Finance

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — National Health Investors Inc. (NYSE: NHI), a publicly traded healthcare REIT based in the Nashville suburb of Murfreesboro, has hired John Spaid as executive vice president of finance.

Spaid will oversee the company’s banking relationships and financial transactions starting March 8.

Spaid has nearly 30 years of experience in finance and seniors housing. Previously, he worked for Emeritus Senior Living as senior vice president of financial planning and analysis where he supervised financial analysis and support. Prior to Emeritus, he was CFO of a regional assisted living and memory care provider in Redmond, Wash.

Spaid has bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
