BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Presbyterian Senior Living has completed a 36-unit, $16.5 million independent living expansion at Kirkland Village, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Bethlehem, approximately 60 miles north of Philadelphia.
The expansion, named Northwood Gardens, comprises two three-story buildings, with six apartments on each floor. Floor plans range from 1,290 square feet to 2,147 square feet.
The community was built to LEED silver certification and is awaiting final accreditation.
Entry fees for the apartments begin at $225,050 for a one-bedroom apartment. Currently, 25 of the 36 new units are pre-leased. Kirkland Village has more than 300 residents throughout its continuum of care.
Presbyterian Senior Living is a nonprofit operator with 30 locations serving 6,000 seniors in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Ohio.
