WEST POINT, Pa. — Acts Retirement-Life Communities, a nonprofit owner-operator based in West Point, has made six appointments at both the corporate and community level.
Stephen La Pierre was appointed to the position of vice president, Chesapeake region. La Pierre has over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, CCRCs and long-term care insurance markets. He has specialized in helping organizations through mergers and affiliations. La Pierre is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in seven states. Most recently, he served as the executive director at The Evergreens, an Acts affiliate community in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Terri A. White, vice president of Mid-Atlantic region, was appointed to a two-year term to the board of LeadingAge, New Jersey. Terri has over 25 years of healthcare management experience. She is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Delaware and is a Leading Age Leadership Fellow. Terri is a CARF-CCAC Surveyor and serves on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Health Care Facilities Association.
Jeremy Neely, vice president of the Northeast region, has been appointed board chair of LeadingAgePA, where he most recently served as treasurer. He has more than 20 years of healthcare management experience and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
Brian Levesque was appointed executive director of The Evergreens. He joined Acts in 2013 as the administrator of health services for Spring House Estates and most recently served as executive director of Gwynedd Estates in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
Donna Thompson was appointed executive director of Gwynedd Estates. She joined Acts in 2007 as the administrator of health services for Spring House Estates, where she was later promoted to executive director.
Elmer Heiland was appointed executive director of Spring House Estates. He joined Acts in 1998 as the culinary director for Brittany Pointe Estates, and most recently served as executive director of Granite Farms Estates in Media, Pennsylvania.
