Arbor Begins Construction of Memory Care Community in Virginia

by Jeff Shaw

CHANTILLY, Va. — The Arbor Company has started construction on Arbor Terrace Fairfax, a 48-unit memory care community in Chantilly, approximately 25 miles west of Washington, D.C.

The single-story community will offer 24 standard memory care units and 24 transitional units for residents who don’t yet need full-service memory care.

The developers on the project are D.C.-based Capitol Seniors Housing and Virginia-based Artisan Land Group. Atlanta-based Arbor will operate the community when construction is completed in spring 2017.

Moseley Architects designed the community and Mosaic Design Studio provided interior design services. The general contractor for the project is Scott Long.
