Argentum Elects New Chair, Members to Board of Directors

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Argentum has elected Pat Mulloy, managing director of Commodore Capital LLC, to serve as the new chairman of the Argentum Board of Directors. Most recently, he served as vice chairman on the board.

Mulloy practiced law for 20 years before founding Atria Senior Living, where he was president and CEO from 1996 to 2000. He was CEO of LifeTrust America from 2001 to 2004 and CEO of Elmcroft Senior Living from 2006 to 2018.

Randy Richardson, president of Vi, will continue to serve as vice chairman. New officer elections include: vice chairman Kai Hsiao, CEO, Eclipse Senior Living; treasurer Sarabeth Hanson, president and CEO, Harbor Retirement Associates; secretary Chris Winkle, CEO, Sunrise Senior Living; public policy committee co-chairs Joel Nelson, president and CEO, Life Care Services LLC, and Katie Potter, president and CEO, Five Star Senior Living. Timothy Buchanan, president and CEO of Legend Senior Living LLC, will serve as immediate past chairman.

Additionally, three new directors were elected to the board: Brenda Bacon, president and CEO, Brandywine Living LLC; Joe Eby, president, Bickford Senior Living; and Mercedes Kerr, president, Belmont Village Senior Living. Two new directors were elected to the board as ex officio members: John Atkinson, managing director, Willis Towers Watson; and Corey Denman, COO, Direct Supply.

Based in Alexandria, Argentum is a national association exclusively dedicated to supporting companies operating professionally managed, resident-centered senior living communities.
